About Our Festival
Gizzard Fest is not your ordinary festival. Thousands of people stream into Potterville for this unique event and good old-fashioned fun! The small town atmosphere, live music, carnival, and great food (including plenty of gizzards) bring people from across the Midwest.
Join us June 8, 9 & 10, 2023!
The 2023 theme is, "Party in the U.S.A."

Gizzard Fest Pageant
We are hosting the second annual Gizzard Fest Pageant for the youth of the City of Potterville. We hope to have enough participants to have two age categories, 8-12 & 13-18.
The children will be competing to win scholarships, which are generously sponsored by Frank’s Food Mart and Butler Heating and Cooling.
The pageant is designed to build confidence, friendships, and community pride within our youth.
The Gizzard Fest Pageant will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the pavilion located in downtown Potterville.

Parade
The 2023 Gizzard Fest Parade Will be held Friday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. The theme is "Party in the USA". We can't wait to see who has the most creative patriotic design!

The parade will start at Potterville Schools, travel down High Street, go across Vermontville to Nelson, and then proceed down Main Street back to the school.
We are proud to announce, the 2023 Gizzard Fest Parade Grand Marshall is Mr. Joe Bristol II.
Mr. Bristol has lived most of his life in the City of Potterville and is a 1989 graduate of Potterville Highschool. He holds Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Systems Economic Management from Michigan State University.
Mr. Bristol is involved in the City of Potterville local government and Chamber of Businesses. He currently sits on the City of Potterville’s Zoning Board of Appeals and TIFA Board.
Mr. Bristol prides himself in his community involvement and supports community events either through the donation of time or money.
Mr. Bristol is the father of two sons, Anderson and Grayson. He is also the owner of Joe's Gizzard City since 2000.

Another Clucking 5K
Calling all runners, joggers, and walkers. Join us for a 5k unlike any other Saturday, June 10th at 9:30 a.m.

Basket Raffle Fundraiser
Please visit our basket Raffle to help raise funds for Sycamore Creek Church which is hosted by Ms. Sarah Vandenboss. Sycamore Creek Church is the helping hands in the "City of Helping Hands." Over the past year the Potterville Food Pantry, run by Sycamore Creek, distributed over 150,000 pounds of food into the Potterville community. Sycamore Creek partners with local businesses to provide a gas giveaway, free pumpkins for Halloween, and free car washes for the Potterville community. Sycamore Creek helps our community's children prepare for the school year with a Back to School Bash with hundreds of free backpacks and school supplies. Thank you for supporting Sycamore Creek Church in giving back to our community!

Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, June 10th, a pancake breakfast will be held in our pavilion/beverage tent located in downtown Potterville from 7am-11am. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for students, and children age 5 and under will eat for free. Menu will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and American fries.
The breakfast will end when the motorcycles head out of town on a destination ride.
The pancake breakfast is hosted the Potterville Masonic Lodge with assistance from Just A Few Motorcycle Club. All proceeds go to benefit the Potterville Band Boosters.

Classic Car Show
Sponsored and organized by Durotech Automotive, the car show will be held at Potterville High School on Saturday, June 10th from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The entry fee is $10.00. The first 100 cars will receive a plaque. Car show trophies will be awarded.

Destination Bike Ride
On Saturday, June 10th, join "Just-A-Few" Motorcycle Club for a two-hour tour of rural Eaton County! The ride will begin following the blessing of the bikes at 11:00 a.m.
Register at the pavilion/beverage tent located in downtown Potterville during the Pancake Breakfast. A hat will be passed accepting donations for necessary improvement to the “Just-A-Few” Clubhouse.

Susan Fhaner, owner of Kick-N-Style Line Dancing will be giving free line dancing lessons on Saturday, June 10th in the Downtown Pavilion during the following times:

Corn Hole Tournament
On Saturday, June 10th, there will be a cornhole tournament hosted by Round Head Cornhole.
The tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the City Park Ball Fields located behind the carnival.

Softball Tournament
An Adults Men's Slow Pitch Silver NIT Tournament will be held at Lake Alliance Ball Field on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Teams that are classified as “silver” may participate.
The deadline to sign up is June 8, 2022.

Fair Rides
Anderson Midways, LLC, a Michigan based company, will have their carnival rides set up in our City Park.
The carnival rides will run on Thursday, June 8th through Saturday, June 10th.
Wristbands will be available $20 for all day fun! You may also purchase individual tickets for $1.50 each, 15 tickets for $20.00, or 50 tickets for $50.00. Most rides require three tickets.

Fireworks
Yes, you read that right! We are going have firework display on Saturday, June 10th at dusk at Potterville High School.
The fireworks will be launched by Wolverine Fireworks Display, Inc.
Viewing will be perfect from anywhere in the City of Potterville!
